Salvation Army Making The Call For Volunteer Bell Ringers

DETROIT (WWJ) - Can you rock a red apron all the while ringing a bell? Then the Salvation Army is looking for you.

A bell ringer recruitment fair across the 13 metro Detroit community centers starting Monday and running through Friday October 21.

The organization is looking for folks willing to give their time ringing bells for holiday donations for the non-profit.

There are hundreds of volunteer shifts to fill before Nov. 11 and you can volunteer on your own or with family, or a group.

Last year, more than 1,200 metro Detroiters volunteered as Salvation Army bell ringers during the Christmas season.

You can find more information [HERE] and register to ring [HERE].
