Royal Oak Police Seek Armed Grocery Store Robbers

ROYAL OAK (CBS Detroit) In suburban Royal Oak, police say two armed men robbed Wilson's Market, 901 E. 11 Mile Road.

It happened at 9:10 p.m. Tuesday.

The suspects, described as dark skinned black males with thin builds, approximately 5'10 to 6' tall, wearing dark clothing, ski masks and gloves, immediately ordered the employees and a customer to the ground upon entering the store.

One suspect was armed with a dark colored revolver, police said.

An undisclosed amount of cash was taken and the suspects fled the area.

"The suspects were in and out of the store in two minutes. There were no shots fired and no one was hurt during this robbery," police said in a press release.

The customer left the store prior to police arrival and was not identified.
