Rothstein: Best Final Four We've Seen In A While

By Jon Rothstein

The 2015 Final Four is the best we’ve seen in quite some time.

Here's a complete breakdown of Saturday’s games in Indianapolis.

DUKE/MICHIGAN STATE:

Mike Krzyzewski and Tom Izzo are no strangers to each other and have already played once this season. The Spartans are a much different team than they were when they lost to the Blue Devils in November, but that doesn’t mean they’re going to be able to contain Jahlil Okafor in the post. The 6-11, 270 pound big man has only scored a combined 15 points in back-to-back games and seems due for a breakout performance.

Michigan State will need strong performances from both Matt Costello and Gavin Schilling to contain Okafor inside. Izzo has had as good of a March as he’s ever had, but upsetting Duke in the Final Four is going to be one really tall task.

KENTUCKY/WISCONSIN:

College basketball has been waiting a year for this rematch between these two titans and now we’re finally going to get it. The Wildcats are the first team to enter the Final Four undefeated since UNLV in 1991 while the Badgers will be pound-for-pound the best team Kentucky has faced this season. Bo Ryan’s squad has three players up front - Sam Dekker, Nigel Hayes, and Frank Kaminsky - that can score over the top of the Wildcats’ defense and that will be awfully tough to defend.

John Calipari is two wins away from an undefeated season and a second national title, but beating Wisconsin will be the toughest task Kentucky has had this season.
