Rocket Companies IPO Filing: Company Becomes Public, Sells $1.8 Billion

(CBS DETROIT) - Detroit billionaire Dan Gilbert is celebrating the initial public offering for Rocket Companies.

The parent company of Quicken Loans sold $1.8 billion during its IPO.

This number was lower than initially expected.

In an interview, Gilbert says the trading of its stock will strengthen the company's future.
