Rochester Cemetery Hosts 'Minions' Screening, Fundraiser

ROCHESTER (AP) — The animated comedy "Minions" is getting a special screening at a suburban Detroit cemetery.

Guardian Angel Cemetery in Rochester on Saturday hosts the fourth-annual "Cinema in the Cemetery" event. It helps support Raising Rochester, an organization dedicated to creating and managing urban gardens as a way to help provide healthy vegetables to low-income families.

The screening is scheduled to start at sundown in an undeveloped section of land near the cemetery's entrance. A minimum donation of $5 per vehicle is recommended.

Guardian Angel Director Wendy Mann says in a statement that movie night at the cemetery "has become a wonderful tradition." In the first three years that "Cinema in the Cemetery" was held to support Raising Rochester, more than $3,000 has been raised.
