Robbers Get Away With $50K In Goods From Ann Arbor Best Buy [VIDEO]

ANN ARBOR (WWJ) - Ann Arbor police are turning to the public to help them catch a group of thieves who stole tens of thousands of dollars worth of goods from a Best Buy Mobile store.

It happened last Sunday, just after 12 a.m., at the location inside Briarwood Mall, 100 Briarwood Circle, in Ann Arbor.

Detective Lt. Matthew Lige said it didn't take these brazen crooks long to get away with a lot of expensive items.

"The investigation revealed, through some surveillance video, that a group of individuals entered the store, triggering the alarm," he told WWJ Newsradio 950's Chrystal Knight. "And within one minute or less they were able to remove approximately $50,000 worth of electronics and cell phone from the store."

Ann Arbor police released the video to the media on Thursday, along with a photo of the suspect vehicle, hoping someone from the public will come forward with information that will lead them to those responsible.

Anyone who recognizes the any of the four suspects in the video or who knows anything about this crime is asked to call the Ann Arbor police tip line at 734-794-6969.
