Reports Of Stomach Illnesses At Kellogg Center Investigated

EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) - Ingham County health officials are investigating reports of stomach illness by more than 120 people who attended events at Michigan State University's Kellogg Center.

The county health department says Thursday that the investigation has expanded from Feb. 18 events at the center in East Lansing to those from Feb. 16 through Sunday.

Health officer Linda Vail says "the most common symptoms are vomiting and diarrhea" and that "people have recovered quickly and without complication."

Kellogg Center voluntarily suspended food service operations Monday and Tuesday. Food was served again starting Wednesday after the facility was cleaned.
