The talk was that the Detroit Tigers were still on the market for another starting pitcher after they signed free agent Jordan Zimmermann.
MLive.com is reporting the Tigers have indeed signed another starting pitcher in free agent Mike Pelfrey.
Pelfrey, 31, spent the last three seasons with the Minnesota Twins and posted a 4.26 ERA with a 1.476 WHIP.
As reported by MLive.com, it's a two-year deal worth $16 million for Pelfrey who is expected to be the team's fourth starter for the 2016 season and was spotted in Detroit late Thursday evening.

Pelfrey has pitched 10 seasons in the big leagues with the New York Mets and Minnesota Twins.
Tigers had interest in Mike Pelfrey as far back as 2005 Draft, when he went one pick before they picked Maybin. Looks like they'll get both.

The 6'7" right-handed pitcher has a career 4.52 ERA with a WHIP of 1.482. His best season was in 2010 with the Mets when he posted a 15-9 record, 3.66 ERA and a WHIP of 1.377 and 113 strikeouts.
