In the wake of the hacking of Ashley Madison -- the website where married individuals can sign up to discretely cheat on their partners -- there have been reports that more than 15,000 political leaders have been linked to the scandal.
However, according to a report from Inside Higher Ed, there are far more .edu email addresses leaked that were registered on the site. Topping the list of schools with the most registered addresses -- Michigan State University.

MSU just barely beat out Penn State for the top spot, while the University of Michigan ranks at No. 9.
According to the report, almost 75,000 of the 36 million leaked addresses worldwide were registered with a university account. However, not all of those leaked belong to current students.
"Many colleges and universities offer email addresses for alumni as well as students and current and former employees, so it's unclear what percentage of these addresses are those of employees."
Fortunately for those involved in this report, none of the names have been released.
