With NFL teams able to talk to players' agents starting Monday, one report has the Detroit Lions interested in free agent safety George Iloka who previously played for the Cincinnati Bengals.

The 25-year-old safety out of Boise State just completed his fourth season in the NFL, spending all four years with the Bengals.

Last season Iloka played in 12 games, starting all 12, for the Bengals. He had 47 tackles and one interception on the heels of his best season in 2014 in which he had 74 tackles and three interceptions.

Detroit is in need of a safety, after reportedly telling James Ihedigbo he will be cut. The only safeties on the Lions roster are Don Carey, Isaiah Johnson, Isa Abdul-Quddus and Glover Quin.
