Think back to when you were in the eighth grade. What were you doing? I played some sports, but didn't take them that seriously. I was the same height that I am now. I have not grown one inch. That happens to a good number of kids.

But that hasn't stopped Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh from reportedly offering an eighth grader a scholarship offer to play QB. That is insane if you ask me.

The young man is reportedly 6 foot 1 inch tall and weighs 180 pounds. I just don't get why and school would want to offer a kid who hasn't come close to hitting their potential? Maybe someone can fill me in with an answer.

Jim Harbaugh isn't the first or the last head coach to do such a ridiculous act either. I just can't wait for schools to start offering elementary school kids.
