The Detroit Pistons lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers Sunday night 106-101.
Late in the game, Pistons PG Reggie Jackson was given a technical foul when he reacted to a non-call with only 3:24 left to play.
Jackson himself didn't regret the move at all: "Nah," Jackson said, when asked if he regretted his technical. "I wish I got the call. I wish [the ref] had seen me get slapped on the arm."
Stan Van Gundy didn't agree with Jackson's outburst.
"I understand you're frustrated, you think you got fouled, whatever," Van Gundy said. "Doesn't matter. First of all, we can't give [points] away even in the first quarter. We don't have the margin for error against this team to give those. But certainly not at that point in the game. I mean, one point's huge. … He knows that. I'm sure if you ask him, he'll tell you the same thing."
After the game, Jackson brought a hat with him to the podium that read, "Dirtroit" and underneath says, "Refusing to play fair."

Huh? The website for 'Dirtroit' explains it this way: "Why Dirtroit? Dirtroit is just a play on words, we're based out of Detroit and the brand is called Dirt Label."
I guess I am just really confused by this hat, aren't Detroiters supposed to be proud to be from Detroit?
To me, this hat is in bad taste, especially when so many people are working so hard to change the city's image.
I wonder what @JalenRose thinks of Reggie's hat #dirtroit is he sayin ur town is dirt shot @ ur town? hmm just sayin

@chunkierthanyou Well said...also went to the presser trying to promote a hat with "Dirtroit" written on it. Wrong time and place for that.

Even former Piston great Isiah Thomas had a problem with the hat.
@DIRTLABEL They showed the entire Presser in @NBATV Then Isiah Thomas complained that Reggie was "trying to sell a hat" during the Q&A!

The hat can be purchased for $31.99, but it's limited to only 30.
