Red Wings Sign Another Forward, C Steve Ott, To 1-Year Contract
DETROIT (CBS Detroit) -- The Detroit Red Wings added another forward to their roster on Friday, signing veteran center Steve Ott to a one-year contract.

Ott spent the past two and a half seasons playing for the St. Louis Blues, where he tallied only 17 points in 122 games while posting a -23 plus/minus.
The Red Wings also signed forwards Frans Nielsen and Thomas Vanek on Friday. They also re-signed forward Darren Helm and defenseman Alexey Marchenko.
