Red Wings Looking For A Few Of Your Favorite Things For New Arena

DETROIT (WWJ) - How would you like to share a bit of your Red Wings history with other fans?

As the new Wings arena goes up in downtown Detroit, the team is asking you for help in finalizing the site.

The Red Wings and Olympia Entertainment are asking fans to donate or loan items that are part of the city's hockey, music and entertainment heritage to go on display at the arena.

Among the items that may be used are jerseys, equipment, photos, posters, tickets, videos and audio recordings.

If your item is chosen for display the Red Wings will give you a public nod for the contribution.
