Red Wings' Glendening And DeKeyser Make Christmas Special For 20 Children [PHOTOS]

This may sound cheesy, but who cares? With as many bad stories that we hear about athletes these days, it's nice to check out the internet and read something about a couple of Red Wings doing something truly good.

Luke Glendening and Danny DeKeyser decided to make sure Christmas would be extra special for 20 children this year. The forward and defenseman took the kids to a local department store for a spending spree and by the looks of the pictures and tweets, everybody seemed to be having a great time.

DeKeyser took 10 children of military members connected with his Hometown Hero's foundation while Glendenning brought 10 kids with Down syndrome from two different Michigan Down syndrome organizations.

Athletes always talk about giving back but it's great to actually see it happening...
