Red Wings: DeKeyser Suffers Injury To Lower Left Leg
DETROIT (AP) - The Detroit Reds Wings have announced that defenseman Danny DeKeyser suffered an injury to his lower left leg.
The team says Thursday that DeKeyser was hurt in the third period of Wednesday night's game against the Penguins in Pittsburgh.
DeKeyser was examined by doctors and returned Thursday with the team to Detroit where more tests were done.
The Red Wings say they are awaiting results of the tests and that a timetable for his return was not immediately known.
