Punch Bowl Social To Hold Job Fair For New Detroit Location

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) - Developers of Punch Bowl Social, the "eatertainment" development in Detroit, will be holding a job fair Tuesday and Wednesday.
The 24,000-square-foot restaurant, bar and entertainment complex, which will be located on the ground floor of "The Z" parking structure on Broadway, is looking to fill 150 positions immediately for positions ranging from bartenders to activities coordinators.
"This is an incredible opportunity to join the team of a fast-moving, rapidly expanding, national restaurant group," the company stated in a release. "Punch Bowl Social is deeply committed to supporting Detroit and looks forward to filling these positions with qualified local applicants."
Punch Bowl Social will feature old-school games including a bowling alley, karaoke, darts and shuffleboard, along with a classic cocktail bar and a diverse menu set in a modern-meets-mountain lodge atmosphere.
Among the positions Punch Bowl Social will be hiring during the job fairs from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at 1528 Woodward Avenue, Second Floor, Detroit, include:
- Bartenders
- Servers
- Hosts/Hostesses
- Server assistants
- Bar backs
- Banquet captains
- Activities coordinators
- Sous chefs
- Line cooks (AM and PM)
- Prep cooks
- Dishwashers
- Banquet chefs
