Protesters Line The Streets Outside Detroit GOP Debate Site

DETROIT (WWJ) - With signs saying Dump Trump and Workers for $15 Wage - a sea of protesters lined the streets outside the Fox Theater, site of the Republican debate Thursday night.

The Ticket's Dan Leach was outside the Fox Theatre before the GOP debate began.

Protesters literally pushed up against the entrance gate at the Fox Theatre chanting "Can't Take No More," Leach said in a tweet.

WWJ will be broadcasting live from outside Detroit's Fox Theater, where the debate is taking place. Russ McNamara will be hosting a live watch party down the street at Cheli's Chili Bar starting at 5 p.m. Stay with us for coverage throughout the night.
