Prostitute Allegedly Robs Man In Motorized Scooter

PONTIAC (CBS Detroit) Oakland County Sheriff's detectives are trying to find a prostitute and her companion who tied a 71-year-old man to his motorized scooter and robbed him.

Police said it started when the elderly  man met a prostitute in Pontiac and took her back to his home on West Rutgers early Saturday morning.

They apparently decided to add drugs to the mix so the woman called another man who was supposed to bring them an illicit substance. He came over and pulled out a gun on the victim, police said.

The woman then tied up the man and the suspects stole the man's wallet, cell phone and a safe that had $4,000 in it.

The victim was eventually able to free himself and go to a local business to get help.

The prostitute is Caucasian, about 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing about 120 pounds. Her male companion has no description, police said.
