Prosecutor Considers Charges Over Threatening Tweet In Wake Of Paris Attacks

DEARBORN (WWJ) - We could know soon whether a local woman will face charges over a threatening tweet in the wake of the Paris attacks.

Sarah Beebe was investigated after her weekend tweet noting Dearborn's large Muslim population and saying "Let's --- that place up and send a message to ISIS."

Dearborn police have finished their investigation into the tweet, which was later removed, and have submitted the results to both the Wayne County Prosecutor and the U.S. Attorney Barbara McQuade.

McQuade told WWJ they are taking the investigation seriously. She expects to announce whether or not there will be federal charges soon.
