Pro Surfer Mick Fanning Attacked By Shark And Survives [VIDEO]

Three-time surfing world champion Australian Mick Fanning can add another victory to his titles; survivor of a shark attack.

The 34-year-old Fanning was in the water during the J-Bay Open in Jeffreys Bay, South Africa when he was attacked by a shark. You see a fin in the water make its way directly toward Fanning and then both disappear.

Within seconds rescue jet skis and boats race toward Fanning. Miraculously, Fanning was unhurt and it's believed the shark may have a bruised back after a punch by Fanning.

"I was just sitting there, I was just about to start moving - then I felt something grab - just got stuck in my leg rope -- it just kept coming at my board, I was kicking and screaming -- I was waiting for the teeth to come at me ..." said Fanning not long after the attack.
