Prince Will Play At The Fox During 'Hit & Run' Tour
DETROIT (WWJ) - The announcement has been made - Prince will play at the Fox Theater this week.
The impromptu concert -- which takes place Thursday, April 9 -- was announced Friday night.
Tickets priced between $99 and $250 sold out within 30 minutes of going on sale.
Detroit will be the second stop of Prince's 2015 "Hit & Run" Tour -- a pop-up show model with each show announced one-by-one, just days ahead of time.
Thursday's show will be the 56-year-old singer's first in 11 years in the Motor City. He'll be accompanied by 3rdEyeGirl -- his all-female band.
