Powerball's Estimated Jackpot Hits $478 Million

DETROIT (WWJ/AP) - No one matched the jackpot-winning numbers in Wednesday night's Powerball drawing, so the prize has increased to an estimated $478 million.

The numbers were 10-47-50-65-68 and Powerball 24.

While no one hit it big in Michigan, four tickets are good for $50,000 for matching four white balls plus the Powerball.

The next drawing will be Saturday. Nearly three months have passed without a winner of the big prize.

The chance of winning the Powerball is incredibly small, at 292.2 million-to-1. But players have much better odds, of about 1 in 25, of winning smaller prizes ranging from $4 to $1 million.
