Police: Woman Intentionally Ran Over 2 Men Following Argument On Detroit's East Side

DETROIT (WWJ) - An investigation is underway on Detroit's east side after police say a woman deliberately ran over two men with her car, leaving both seriously injured.

The incident unfolded around 11:40 p.m. Tuesday on Roxbury Street near Whittier Avenue, in a neighborhood just west of I-94 and Cadieux Road.

Police say a large crowd had gathered and a heated argument broke out when a woman jumped in her vehicle and intentionally ran down two men, ages 26 and 33, before fleeing the scene.

Both men were rushed to local hospitals; the younger man was last reported in critical condition, while the older man was last reported in serious condition.

Police are now searching for the suspect, described as a short black female with a dark complexion, slim build and long hair. She was wearing medical scrubs at the time. Her vehicle is described as a 2005 or 2006 black Pontiac Grand Prix.
