Police Surround Ecorse Home In Possible Armed Standoff

ECORSE (WWJ) - Police surrounded a home in Ecorse, late Thursday afternoon, for a possible barricade gunman situation.

Police in Lincoln Park told WWJ Newsradio Sandra McNeill it all start with a call about a domestic dispute at a home on 10th Street in Ecorse just after 4 p.m.

At 6 p.m. police remained on the scene and residents who live on the street were not being allowed to return to their homes.

There were no reports of injuries or shots fired.

As of 7:30 p.m., police were not releasing any further information.
