Police: Spartans Receiver Kicked Parking Enforcement Truck Before Arrest

EAST LANSING (AP) — Michigan State wide receiver Macgarrett Kings Jr. is accused of kicking a parking enforcement vehicle prior to his arrest.

East Lansing police Lt. Steve Gonzalez told MLive.com that the 21-year-old from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, also resisted Saturday when officers made contact with him.

King faces misdemeanor charges of being drunk and disorderly and interfering with police charges.

He also was arrested in April 2014 for driving with a blood-alcohol level of 0.23 percent -- nearly triple the legal limit of 0.08 percent. He pleaded guilty and received probation. Michigan State suspended him from spring football last year.

Coach Mark Dantonio said the latest incident will be handled internally. The Associated Press left a message Friday seeking comment from Kings' attorney.
