Police: Son Of Mike Ilitch Arrested At Detroit Motel On Drug Charges

DETROIT (WWJ) - Ronald Ilitch, son of Detroit Tigers and Detroit Red Wings owner Mike Ilitch, has been arrested on drug charges Detroit police officials confirmed to WWJ.

Police arrested Ilitch Wednesday evening at the Riviera Motel on the city's west side and authorities say he was in possession of crack cocaine. Investigators say he was found with a prostitute.

The 56-year-old was being booked at the detention center.

Mike Ilitch is founder and owner of the Little Caesars Pizza and he owns the Detroit Red Wings and the Detroit Tigers.
