Police Seek Witnesses To Break-In At Shelby Wholesale

SHELBY TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - Police are looking to speak with anyone who might have witnessed a break-in at a business in Shelby Township.

The incident occurred just before 7 a.m. Thursday at Shelby Wholesale Distributors on 23 Mile Road just west of Van Dyke Avenue.

Police say the suspect or suspects broke through a wall to gain entry to the business. Once inside, the suspect stole an undetermined amount of merchandise from the business.

Investigators don't yet have a description of the suspect.

According to their website, Shelby Wholesale sells everything from candy and tobacco products, to batteries and automotive items.

Anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area is asked to contact police at 586-731-2121.
