Police Seek Tips To ID Suspect In Canton High School Thefts

CANTON (WWJ) -  Police are reaching out to the public for help in identifying a woman suspected of stealing from students at Canton High School.

On Monday, Oct. 6, at around 3:30 p.m., police say the suspect entered the school's athletic building, rooted through wallets found in book bags and purses in the hallway, athletic office and team room. She got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Canton police released a surveillance photo of the suspect, who is described as a white female with dark brown hair. She was wearing a purple jacket and blue jeans.
