Police Seek Tips To Find Missing 16-Year-Old Detroit Girl [PHOTOS]

DETROIT (WWJ) - Police say a Detroit teen has gone missing for at least the eleventh time.

Shanteya Bunton-Lowe, 16, was last seen by her grandmother the morning of Thursday, May 16, at their home in the 9500 block of Wayburn in Detroit.

The grandmother told police she and Shanteya got into an argument, and — at around 7:30 a.m. — then teen left and never returned.

Shanteya is described as a black female, 5 feet, 8 inches tall and around 220 lbs. with medium-length black hair and brown eyes.  It's unknown what clothes she might be wearing but she may be carrying a book bag with hamburger logos on it.

Police said this missing teen is believed to be in good physical condition but suffers from mental health concerns and takes medication. She's classified as a habitual runaway.
