Police: 'Endangered Missing' 14-Year-Old Girl Back Home Safe

MONROE (WWJ) - Michigan State Police say a teen who was reported as an "endangered missing" person has returned home.

Police say Merissa Rose Logwood, 14, had last been seen in the area of 2109 Daylily Dr. in Monroe, according to police, but may have more recently been near Roosevelt High School in Taylor.

Logwood was released from Henry Ford Kingswood Hospital on Wednesday, April 12, needs prescribed medication she didn't take with her, and police believed she may have been a danger to herself.

Late Tuesday morning, police said Logwood was back home safe, but did not release any further details.

Police, in a media release, thanked the media and the public for their assistance.
