Police Searching For Suspect Who Shot Into Home In Ypsilanti

YPSILANTI (WWJ) -- Police in Ypsilanti are looking for leads after someone shot up a home early Monday morning with a young child inside.

A 43-year-old woman and her 6-year-old son were not injured in the shooting that left bullet holes in the side of the house on Jefferson St. at around 1 a.m. Police are following up on leads, but the only information being released is that the suspect is male.

It is not known if the shooter knew the residents of the house. Anyone with information is asked to call Ypsilanti police.
