Police Searching For Suspect Accused Of Trying To Abduct Teen

DETROIT (WWJ) - Police are asking for help identifying a suspect in connection with an attempted kidnapping of a 13-year-old girl in Detroit.

Police say the teen was walking to a store around 3:20 p.m. in the area of Chicago and Linwood on November 7, when the suspect drove up in a black SUV, telling her to get in. When the victim looked back, she saw the suspect running in her direction.

The suspect eventually returned to his car and fled westbound on Chicago.

He's described as a black male in his 20's or 30's and about 6 feet tall. He has a mustache, and was wearing a black du-rag, black hoodie and gray jogging pants.
