Police Search For Third Suspect Who Jumped From Stolen Car During Chase
WARREN (WWJ) - Two men are in custody and a third is on the run after crashing a stolen car during a police chase in Warren.
The situation unfolded just after 5 a.m. Tuesday after officers on patrol spotted the suspects driving a Saab that had been reported stolen.
Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but the suspects sped away, initiating a chase. At some point during the pursuit, one of the suspects jumped from the vehicle and was able to escape on foot.
The chase ended a short time later when the suspects crashed into another vehicle near 10 Mile and Mound roads. Two men, who were unarmed, were taken into custody without further incident. The other driver was uninjured.
Police are now searching for the third suspect, described as a young black male.
