Police Search For Suspect In Oakland County Burglary [PHOTOS]

INDEPENDENCE TOWNSHIP (WWJ) -- The Oakland County Sheriff's office is asking for the public's help identifying a suspect in a commercial burglary that took place in Independence Township on May 12.

Investigation indicates that the suspect entered the business on the 6100 block of Dixie Highway using tools bought at a Home Depot in Auburn Hills. The business was ransacked and a cash box was taken.

In addition to the tools, the suspect also purchased lighter fluid, matches and disposable gloves at the same time. The tools have been recovered, the lighter fluid and matches have not.

The suspect was driving a Toyota Camry during the Home Depot incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Oakland County Sheriff's office.
