Police Release Photo Of Person Of Interest In Murder Outside Detroit Gas Station

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police and Crime Stoppers are asking the public for help in the search for a man they want to talk to about an armed robbery and murder outside an east side gas station.

Police say Terry Williams was exiting the Valero gas station, located at 7 Mile Road and Shiawassee, on Aug. 22 when he was approached by two men who attempted to rob him and shot him.

Police describe Kevin Pearson as a person of interest in the case.

Pearson is described as 5 feet 9 inches and about 140 pounds with a dark complexion.

A cash reward of up to $1,000 is being offered in the case.

Anyone who sees Kevin Pearson is asked to call Detroit police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK UP. Tipsters to Crime Stoppers may remain anonymous.
