Police Search For Suspect In Armed Robbery Of Pontiac Bar [VIDEO]

PONTIAC (WWJ) -- The Oakland County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect in an armed robbery and attempted murder at Bob and Elmer's Bar in Pontiac.

Police say the B and E bar manager was sitting in the back office when she saw the suspect enter the bar on North Perry Street. He forced his way into the office and pointed a handgun at the victim, ordering her to open the safe.

The suspect pulled the trigger twice, but the gun misfired. He then took $1200 from the safe before fleeing.

The man is in his mid-30s with a beard and wearing a green North Face jacket.
