Police Search For 2 Hit-And-Run Drivers Who Left Woman, Boy Critically Injured

DETROIT (WWJ) - A woman and a young boy are hospitalized in critical condition after an apparent hit-and-run incident on Detroit's west side.

The accident happened shortly before 11 p.m. Friday along Grand River Avenue at Terry Street, between Greenfield Road and Hubble Avenue.

Police are looking for two vehicles in connection with the crash: A dark-colored sedan, possibly a Chevy Malibu or Impala, and a green Dodge Durango. Both vehicles were reportedly traveling westbound on Grand River Avenue when they struck the 42-year-old woman and a 12-year-old boy.

The victims were both rushed to the hospital and were last reported in critical condition.
