Police Reviewing Probe Into Death Of Michigan Girl Hit By Partition

GWINN, Mich. (AP) - An investigation has been completed into the circumstances surrounding the death of a 4-year-old Upper Peninsula girl who was struck and killed when a safety partition being installed in a high school gym fell on her.

Forsyth Township Police Chief Gordon Warchock tells The Grand Rapids Press Wednesday that the probe is being reviewed. The review should be completed next week.

Details of the investigation were not released Wednesday.

Amarah Filizetti of Forsyth Township was in the Gwinn High School gym Thursday when the partition hit her. She later died.

Funeral services for Amarah were scheduled Wednesday afternoon in Marquette.
