Police Release Video Of Suspects In Carjacking On City's East Side

DETROIT (WWJ) - Two suspects are at large after a Thanksgiving-eve carjacking and shooting on the city's east side.

Wednesday night around 10:30 p.m. two men approached a driver in a blue Jeep Cherokee at a gas station on East State Fair -- shooting one of the men and physically assaulting the the other before getting access to the Jeep and driving off.

Police describe the suspects as black men between 20 and 25-years-old, medium to dark brown complexion with the first suspect about 6 feet tall, the other around 5 feet, 7 inches with a scraggly beard.

Authorities say the man who was shot is in critical condition.
