Police: Man Was Ambushed While Driving In Highland Park
HIGHLAND PARK (WWJ) - Police are investigating the shooting death of a 29-year-old man found in a car on Wednesday.
According to police the man was ambushed while driving his car and died at the scene on in Highland Park.
Police Chief Chester Logan says officers responded to a call of shots fired along Church Street -- near Woodward and McNichols -- shortly after 2 p.m.
Police say they are pursuing multiple leads and do not believe this was a random shooting.
