Police: Long-Standing Feud Led To Fatal Stabbing In Warren

WARREN (WWJ) - A 37-year-old man was stabbed to death in what authorities believe was the result of a long-standing feud with his roommate.

The situation unfolded around 10 p.m. Thursday at a home in the 8100 block of Fisher, in a neighborhood just north of 8 Mile Road and Van Dyke Avenue in Warren.

Police say the 37-year-old man apparently got into an argument with a 25-year-old man who lives in his house.  The argument escalated and at some point, the younger man stabbed the homeowner multiple times.

The man was rushed to the hospital, where he later died. His name has not yet been released.

The suspect was taken into custody at the scene. Authorities say he could be arraigned on charges as soon as Friday.
