Police Investigating Shooting Death Of Woman At Jump N Jam In Marysville

MARYSVILLE (WWJ) - Police confirming the death of a woman shot at a children's indoor play center Saturday night in Marysville.

According to authorities a man entered the Jump N Jam on Gratiot Road during business hours and shot the woman in the head - police telling WPHM the woman has died.

Police say the man fled the scene and The Times Herald is reports that the gunman was found dead inside a home in Kimball Township from a reported self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Witnesses say the victim's daughter was there at the time of the shooting -- there were no other injuries.

Police believe the shooter knew the victim but are not releasing any names.

An investigation is ongoing.
