Police investigating after shots fired in Clinton Township

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (CBS DETROIT) - Clinton Township police are investigating after receiving reports of shots fired Tuesday night.

At about 10:55 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 24, police responded to the area of Bayview Avenue and Hall Road after receiving multiple reports of shots fired. 

When they arrived, they discovered an unknown suspect may have been injured in the incident but was not located. 

According to police, the shots fired are believed to be connected to a robbery that took place in the area. One suspect had been taken into custody on other charges.

The investigation is ongoing. 

No other details have been released at this time.
