Police Investigating After Shooting Leaves 1 Dead, 4 Others Injured

DETROIT (WWJ) - Michigan State Police respond to a fatal shooting on Detroit's east side Thursday night.

Michigan State Police say they arrived to the call at Gunston Street near Nashville, south of McNichols shortly after 8:30 p.m.

That was where five victims were found. One of the shootings was fatal, two others are in serious condition.

Investigators say the victims were outside and may have been targeted in a drive-by shooting involving a dark-colored sedan, possibly an Oldsmobile Alero. It is said others were inside the home, including children, who were uninjured.
