Police Investigate Death Of Michigan State Student

EAST LANSING (WWJ/AP) - Police are investigating the death of a 21-year-old Michigan State University student who was found unresponsive near campus.

Authorities say Navanjeet Singh Sahi, of Novi, was found around 7:20 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of Cedar Street, near East Grand River Avenue.

Police and firefighters arrived on the scene and administered CPR before transporting the man to Sparrow Hospital, where he later died.

East Lansing police say an initial investigation found no indication of foul play in the man's death. Authorities are awaiting autopsy results to determine a cause of death.
