Police In Michigan City Say Blades Found In Halloween Candy

MANISTEE, Mich. (AP) - Authorities in a western Michigan city say small razor blades were found in pieces of candy handed out to children on Halloween.

Broadcasters reported Tuesday that Manistee police received two calls about the blades of similar size and shape found in candy collected by trick-or-treaters in the same neighborhood. Police say the blades were shoved into pieces of Laffy Taffy and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

No children were injured. Police are investigating and asking anyone with information to contact them.
