Police Identify Port Huron Man Found Dead In St. Clair River

MARYSVILLE (WWJ/AP) - Authorities have released the name of a 48-year-old Port Huron man whose body was found in the St. Clair River.

Police identified the man as James Edward Barton. Marysville Public Safety deputy chief Ron Buckmaster says his death isn't believed to be suspicious.

Barton's body was recovered from the river in Marysville on July 16.

Buckmaster says authorities are interviewing people who saw Barton before he died.
