Police: Gunmen Storm House Killing 3-Year-Old Girl In Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) - Violence in Detroit has claimed the life of a 3-year-old girl. It happened on Easter Sunday at a home on Riverview Avenue, near McNichols and Telegraph roads.

Police say gunmen burst into the home firing shots, reloading, and shooting again.

Two men are hospitalized, a 39-year-old in critical and a 26-year-old, last reported in stable condition.

Authorities say two men are in custody for the shooting but are only being called persons of interest in the case.

There was no immediate word on motive or possible connection between the shooter and victims.

Police, Monday morning, were searching for another suspect. He's described as about 6 feet, 1 inch tall wearing all gray clothing and driving a light-colored Mercury Grand Marquis.
