Police: Girls Tried To Hire Hitman For $2,000

WATERFORD TWP. (WWJ) - Two Oakland County teenagers are facing life in prison after they allegedly offered undercover agents $2,000 to kill a Flint man.

Eighteen-year-old Mia Rae Buscemi and 19-year-old Dallys Emery Vogel are due in court Thursday to face charges of solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

Authorities say the whole thing began back in October, when the Oakland County Sheriff's Office received information that the Waterford Township teens were attempting find a hitman to kill a Flint man.

Undercover detectives made contact with the girls and set up a meeting on Nov. 4 at a location in Waterford Township. During the meeting, police say the girls specified that they wanted a man killed and even told the detectives how they wanted it done, before offering a payment of $2,000.

After the meeting, the teens were arrested and taken to the Oakland County Jail. Police have not yet indicated why the teens wanted the man killed.

Buscemi and Vogel were arraigned Nov. 6. Both are being held on  $100,000 cash surety, no 10 percent, bonds.
